NATIONAL STANDARDS TESTING LABORATORY

Precision Force Calibration

Accredited Force Calibration to ASTM E 74 and E 4

Certificate # L2271 Calibration

Traceability and Compliance

The force standards employed by National Standards Testing Laboratory are standardized or calibrated directly by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (formerly NBS). All calibration certificates and reports of calibration reference the NIST Lab Numbers applicable to the NSTL Standards used in the calibrations. NSTL operates in compliance with the requirements of MIL-STD-45662A, ISO 10012-1, and 10CFR Part 21. NSTL is continuously audited for such compliance by subscribers to its calibration services. Calibrations are performed in accordance with the current version of ASTM Specification E 74; "Standard Practice of Calibration of Force-Measuring Instruments for Verifying the Force Indication of Testing Machines". NSTL will also perform calibrations in accordance with other recognized consensus specifications, or design and execute special tests of force measuring instruments as requested by the submitter.

Accreditation

National Standards Testing Laboratory has completed the accreditation process with the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB). ANAB Accredited Certificate Number L2271.
